In a world where cricket meets luxury, the Hua Hin Sixes cricket tournament at the 6-star Dusit Thani resort in Hua Hin, Thailand, is the stuff of legends. Picture this: teams from every corner of the globe descending upon a tropical paradise to engage in a battle of cricketing prowess and, well, late-night shenanigans.

The tournament spans a glorious six days and boasts three divisions – open, masters, and veterans. With matches condensed to just five overs, it’s like speed dating, but for cricket. Each team fields six players, hence the “Sixes,” and let’s just say they take the competition seriously. These cricketers might only have five overs to prove their worth, but they pack enough competitiveness to fill a stadium.

Amidst the fierce competition on the field, off-field antics during the Hua Hin Sixes are nothing short of legendary. After the sun sets, players and spectators alike indulge in late-night escapades that would make even the most daring night owl blush. The vibrant Hua Hin nightlife beckons, with beachfront bars and clubs tempting the weary cricketers into dancing the night away, or at least until the next match.

The HHSIXES committee has agreed on a simple survey which went out to all 2023 teams along with several other past participating teams, with the view to determine if the 2024 tournament preference was to be held in April, June, or July.

The results identified a clear indication for tournament preference, which I am happy to announce is, Tuesday 2nd July until Sunday 7th July 2024.
